One of our most important jobs at Pure Hearing is sifting through all the available technologies, so you don't have to. There are dozens of different brands such as Signia, Unitron, Phonak, Oticon, Rexton, Resound, Starkey, Widex, Beltone, Miracle-Ear, NewSound, Eargo, TruHearing, Lucid, Phillips, Kirkland, Audibel, and many smaller brands. In addition, each brand has dozens of products of which, some are exceptional, and some are duds. With over 15 years of experience, we've tried just about everything out there. Every year, we go to conventions and completely nerd out as we devour the latest hearing-related news. But, we don't just drink the marketing Kool-Aid; we fit the hearing aids on real live humans (like yourself) and see how they perform in the real world. Then, when we make a recommendation, we know it's the best available on the market. If you don't see a hearing aid in our store, it's because we have intentionally excluded it. On the flip side, anything we offer has met our rigorous quality, value, and long-term support standards. That is why we have chosen Signia, Unitron, and Phonak as our manufactures of choice.

  • Signia - With its roots firmly planted in sound German engineering, Signia (formally known as Siemens Hearing) is one of the oldest, most established hearing aid manufacturers globally. They are known for underpromising and overdelivering, which stands in stark contrast to some of their competitors, who are marketers first and foremost. To learn more visit Signia's Website.
  • Unitron - Being born in 1964 makes Unitron a young adult when compared to the grandpas of the hearing aid manufacturing family. However, being a little younger often gives them an edge when it comes to change, and they leverage the experience of Phonak since they are sister companies (they are both owned by Sonova Group).   • Phonak - Switzerland is probably better known for its Swizz Army Knife, but in the world of hearing aids, it's also famous for Phonak. Born in 1947, Phonak has a rich history of unrushed innovations that just work. Since the beginning, we've worked with Phonak and still have some of our clients in their original hearing aids (over ten years old). Visit Phonak's Website.

Insurance

While we work hard to network with as many insurance companies as possible, it's impossible to be with everyone. We are in-network with most insurance companies in Utah, and if we aren't, we can usually match any in-network benefit you might have. So, if you think you have an insurance benefit, call, text, or email us before making any purchase. We can assist you in finding out exactly what your benefit is and how to maximize your "in-network" benefit.

60 day trial period

We provide you with one of the industry's longest (60 days) 100% money-back trial periods, and returns are straightforward, so shop with confidence. Just call, text, or drop in should you need to return.

Warranty

Our O.T.C. (over the counter) hearing aids come with a one-year warranty. All of our other hearing aids have a full three-year warranty. If your hearing aid stops functioning properly during the warranty period, it will be fixed or replaced at no cost to you. We even pay the shipping. If your warranty has expired, the out-of-warranty repair charge is usually $250.

Lose a hearing aid?

Your hearing aids come with loss protection insurance while they are in warranty. The loss protection covers each hearing aid for one loss during the warranty period. A $250 loss protection deductible must be collected before the lost hearing aid can be replaced.

Service

Each hearing aid comes with a complimentary year of our White-Glove Service. In addition, you can choose to purchase additional years of service for only $99 as you need them. Our service includes:

At-home testing

We will quick-ship our state-of-the-art testing equipment directly to your home. We can then schedule a remote phone or video call to walk you through how to perform the test. It's very intuitive, and many people take the test without any input from us, so either way works fine. Once you have performed the test, slap the pre-paid, self-addressed shipping label on the package and send us back the testing equipment. The test is clinically accurate and can be used to precisely tune your hearing aids for your hearing loss. It is so much more accurate than any online hearing test, is exponentially more convenient than waiting for an in-office appointment, and only costs $39. Of course, if you decide you'd like to keep our equipment rather than send it back, we'd be happy to sell it to you for $2,025 even. Most people just send it back.

At-home appointments

You can schedule at-home appointments yourself using our online scheduling tool on our website or by texting or calling us. Our at-home appointments are virtual, meaning we won't be there physically, so there is no need to bake us cookies (thanks for the thoughtful gesture). We can help you using old-school technology on a regular phone call, or we can do these new-fangled video Zoom calls; you get to choose. If you just need a quick adjustment, we might be able to skip the appointment altogether and send an update to your hearing aids using the app. Our at-home appointments work best for the following:

  • Unboxing new hearing aids and getting them set up.
  • Troubleshooting fit issues & problems with your hearing aids.
  • Troubleshooting Bluetooth and phone problems.
  • Answering questions before or after purchasing.
  • Adjusting the settings on the hearing aids remotely.

In-office appointments

You can schedule in-office appointments yourself using our online scheduling tool on our website or by texting or calling us. Our office is a full-service hearing clinic. We can test your hearing, fit you with new hearing aids, make any adjustments under the sun, and clean and service your hearing aids. In addition, we offer a more comprehensive selection of hearing aids in our office than we do online. For example, we can take impressions of your ears to make earmolds or custom in-the-ear hearing aids that fit your ears precisely. You don't need an appointment if you would like us to clean your hearing aids or if they stop working; just stop in during business hours.

Quick shipping

One of the advantages of servicing primarily only Utahns is that we can ship things to your door much faster without breaking the bank on shipping costs. For example, shipping from Davis County to Utah County usually only takes a day and costs much less than shipping something across the country. Why is this important to you? Less waiting on new hearing aids, repairs, loaners, parts, or anything you might need from us. We can also keep prices lower since there is less cost in shipping.

Loaner aids

Occasionally your hearing aids will need to be serviced or repaired. We recommend your hearing aids come to our office every year for firmware updates, part replacements, cleanings, and adjustments. Instead of going without while your hearing aids are in for repair, we will send you a loaner hearing aids explicitly programmed for your hearing loss. Loaner aids are part of our white-glove service and something that no other online hearing aid provider offers.

We are a local team of hearing care professionals with over 15-years of experience in the hearing care industry. We are board-certified with the state of Utah as Hearing Instrument specialists. We are not audiologists or doctors, so we don't deal with balance issues, surgeries, or red tape. All we do is hearing testing, hearing aids, and hearing adjustments. We do one thing, and we do it exceptionally well. In addition, we are an independent company, meaning we have no obligation to anyone manufacturer. Often you'll see a privacy policy page full of fine print that you can't understand, but not here. It's straightforward; we don't mess around when it comes to your privacy. We are fully HIPPA compliant. We don't sell or share your information with anyone.

Returns

Our products come with at least a 30-day 100% money-back guarantee, and most offer a 60-day guarantee. During the trial period, if you are not fully satisfied, call, text, or email us, and we will send you a return shipping label free of charge. Shipping

Hearing is one of your five senses, and it's a big deal, so it's crucial to get things to you in days, not weeks. New orders, repairs, and loaners need to be to your door and in your ears quickly so you don't miss out. This is the main reason we cater specifically to Utan's, so we can get everything to your door and in your ear within a day or two. If you live in Utah, we pay for shipping both ways, and you'll never have to wait long. We use a combination of USPS and UPS to fulfill our orders. We pay the shipping for new orders, repairs, and loaner hearing aids if your hearing aids need repair.

If you live outside of Utah, we are still happy to serve you. However, shipping times will be longer, and in some cases, we may ask you to chip in on some of the repair shipping charges. Visit our returns and shipping page.
